Supergrass have announced a UK tour for spring next year.
The Oxford indie legends will take their Live '27 tour to Newcastle, Glasgow, Leeds, Manchester, Nottingham, Birmingham, London, Bristol and Portsmouth between April 26 and May 12.
The dates mark the band's first outing since last year's trek celebrating 30 years of their debut album, 'I Should Coco'. Tickets go on general sale at 10am next Friday (September 4). Announcing the new shows, frontman Gaz Coombes said:
"We’re excited to get back into it next year. Last time around was all about ‘I Should Coco’ so for the next live shows we’re going to have some fun going through the records, pulling out even more of them hits & deep cuts for your ears. Bring on Spring 27!”
Supergrass' most recent studio album, 'Diamond Hoo Ha', arrived in 2008, before the band called it quits in 2010. They reunited in 2019, and since then, members have continued to explore solo projects. Gaz Coombes released 'Turn The Car Around' in 2023, while Danny Goffey followed that same year with 'Bryan Moone’s DiscoPunk'.
Last October, the band released an expanded 20th anniversary edition of their fifth album, 'Road To Rouen'.
