Elbow Announce Autumn 'Asleep In The Back' 25th Anniversary Shows At Manchester's O2 Ritz

Tuesday, 01 September 2026 Written by Jon Stickler

Elbow have announced three special Manchester shows this autumn.

The BRIT Award-winning indie giants will play "three hugely intimate hometown shows" at the O2 Ritz on November 20, 21 and 22 to celebrate the 25th anniversary of their debut album, 'Asleep In The Back'.

The shows will feature a performance of the album in its entirety, alongside selected b-sides and rarities, with tickets go on general sale at 10am on Friday (September 4). Announcing the dates on social media, frontman Guy Garvey said:

"It’s fascinating for us to revisit the atmosphere we created, and the Ritz feels like the perfect setting to capture that atmosphere. A time machine night for us and for the fans. See you there."

Elbow opened this year's Teenage Cancer Trust concert series at the Royal Albert Hall in London back in spring, which was curated by The Cure's Robert Smith.

They released their latest studio album, 'AUDIO VERTIGO', in 2024, which was followed by a deluxe edition last year featuring their 'Audio Vertigo Echo elbow EP 5' EP.

Elbow Upcoming Tour Dates are as follows

Fri November 20 2026 - MANCHESTER O2 Ritz
Sat November 21 2026 - MANCHESTER O2 Ritz
Sun November 22 2026 - MANCHESTER O2 Ritz
