ImageHe's on the Road to Hell... well, Harrogate.

Chris Rea, raspy warbler and slide guitar supremo is viciously assaulting the road once again in the Spring of 2010. Cries of “Leave it, Chris, it ain’t werf it!” from his missus Joan have fallen on ears deafened by 30 years of incredible stadium gigs. Click here for tickets.

The music master will be attacking 18 cities on a forthcoming greatest hit CD-fuelled rampage. The 2-CD, ‘Still So Far To Go – The Best Of Chris Rea’ is released in the UK on October 5th through Warner Music whether we like it or not. Luckily, we do.

In the unlikely event you’ve forgotten, Rea’s hits include Fool (If You Think It's Over), Working On It, The Road To Hell (Part 2), God’s Great Banana Skin, Let's Dance, Josephine, Stainsby Girls and I Can Hear Your Heartbeat.

Chris has sold over 30 million albums but this isn’t enough to satisfy his unquenchable music lust; Chris’ brand new single ‘Come So Far, Yet Still So Far To Go’ will be released as a physical 7” and digital single on September 28th 2009 and the ballad 'Valentino' will be released early December 2009. There's no stopping him!
