Rain Machine Announce Four-Date UK Tour & Tickets

Famed singer and guitarist for TV On The Radio, Kyp Malone, has announced that his much-anticipated solo project Rain Machine will play a four-date short tour of UK and Ireland later this year.

The critically acclaimed solo project had its first album released last September. The provocative album art, created by Malone himself, was an appropriate indicator as to the unique and defiantly personal music contained within.

Featuring ten original and emotional songs mixing modern jazz elements, blue grass and shattering guitar driven rock, Rain Machine spawned a refreshing new sound. Describing the sound, which has given him the recognition of a startling lyricist and singing talent, Kyp Malone detailed “a nearly full spectrum of frequencies audible to the human ear, a reflection of a variety of emotions and situations real and imagined - some rhythm some rhyme.”

In many cases that statement could be taken as playful hype. Not in this case. Rain Machine is the sound of an awesome artist emerging into his own.

Rain Machine will play the following dates:

April 2010

12th Village Underground, London
13th Deaf Institute, Manchester
14th Speakeasy, Belfast
15th Academy, Dublin
