London singer-songwriter Kate Nash has revealed that she will be touring the UK for just four very brief and very intimate shows next month in March.
The ‘Foundations’ singer who is set to release her as-yet-untitled second album on April 19th, is expected to debut some new material at the gigs. The second album, which currently has a working title of ‘Crayon Full Of Colour’ will be the follow up to her 2007 debut album ‘Made Of Bricks’. I think its about time we had another offering!
The new album is set to feature twelve songs, with the first official single ‘Doo Wah Doo’ due for release on April 12th. Produced by Bernard Butler, famed for work with singer Duffy, the new album’s tracklisting is listed below:
'You'll Never Listen'
'Kiss That Girl'
'Don't You Want To Share The Guilt?'
'I Just Love You More'
'Do Wah Doo'
'Higher Plane'
'I've Got A Secret'
'Oh Jay'
'Later On'
'Pickpocket'
'You Were So Far Away'
'I Hate Seagulls'
She kicks off the short tour in Glasgow on March 6th, calling in Leeds and Brighton before a short gap and London's Bethnal Green Working Men's Club on March 17th.
