Kenny Rogers Confirms Three-Date UK Tour & Tickets

Veteran country music singer–songwriter Kenny Rogers has announced he will perform seven dates in the UK later this year in June.

Rogers is set to hit the road to play a seven UK cities this summer. Kicking off in London on June 7th, the singer will also play Bournemouth, Manchester, Birmingham, Edinburgh, Glasgow and Belfast.

Born in Houston, Texas, Kenny Rogers is famed for many tracks including ‘Ruby Don’t Take Your Love To Town’, ‘The Gambler’ and UK Number Ones ‘Lucille’ and ‘Coward Of The Country’. A performer since the 1950’s, Rogers has been topping the charts as a solo artist since the 1970’s. He boasts a memorable career featuring more than 25 number one hits, not to mention over 50 albums and a never-ending list of awards and honours.

He has charted more than 70 hit singles across various music styles and has topped the country and pop album charts for more than 437 individual weeks in the USA alone. Having earned more worldwide success and reputation that many other artists in the music industry today, now at iconic status, he is a hugely influential and massively successful figure in country music.

In more recent events, 2009 saw Kenny begin his 50th Anniversary Tour. The tour travelled all over the United States, visited the UK and Ireland and has continued into this year. 2010 also sees Rogers and his long-time friend Dolly Parton to release a new album together.
