Ex-Brian Jonestown Massacre Member Reveals New Band Elephant Stone At London Gig

One of the founder members of cult psychedelic band Brian Jonestown Massacre is bringing his latest band to London for a one-off show.

Rishi Dhir's Elephant Stone will play The Macbeth in East London on July 1st alongside 'psychedelic friends' such as The Koolaide Electric Company and The Hall of Mirrors.

Gig goers will get a preview of songs from Elephant Stone's debut album The Seven Seas, due for release on 30th June 2010.

Brian Jonestown Massacre's legendary frontman Anton Newcomb, best known as the petulant musical genius in the cult rockumentary Dig, signed Elephant Stone up to support the US leg of their tour after heard the album.

The gig is promoted by the Acid Casuals, a sideproject of the Super Furry Animals renowned for quality parties involving acts like Mogwai Caribou, Four Tet.

Live music starts at 6pm and special guest DJs will be spinning tracks until 1am. There will even be a roof-top terrace BBQ for the first hour.
