Drive By Truckers Announce November UK Tour & Tickets

US alternative-country band Drive By Truckers have announced a string of UK dates for November later this year.
Forming in Athens, Georgia, even though half of the six-piece come from Alabama, the Drive By Truckers are noted for their “three axe attack” on music. Playing with three guitars as well as a bassist and a drummer.
Like many other alternative-country groups the Drive By Truckers record their music in a unique way, recording in analog (using 2 inch tape) to give that lo-fi, more 70’s rock ‘n’ roll sound. However, unlike the majority of their fellow bands, Drive By Truckers have always pushed their record labels to ensure that their albums are released on vinyl format.
With the band recently releasing their ninth studio album ‘The Big To Do’ a new tour has been scheduled to hit the UK in November this year. Playing a five-date series of shows across England and Scotland, Drive By Truckers will be showcasing the new material featured on the album.
The tour kicks-off in Glasgow on 10th November and will quickly roll through venues in Manchester, Birmingham as well as a show at London’s Shepherds Bush Empire before concluding in Brighton on 15th November.
