Paul McCartney's Tour Bus Mobbed By Thugs

Sir Paul McCartney’s tour bus reportedly came under siege for a short while after a group of youths scaled the vehicle whilst travelling through an area of Mexico city.

According to a report in the Daily Mirror newspaper, Sir Paul’s luxury tour bus came under attack whilst travelling through a notorious tourist no-go area of the city.

Having just finished his second and final show at the city’s Foro Sol arena, Sir Paul and some road crew aboard the bus were forced to stop in the street after a mob climbed onto the roof of the bus during the early hours of Saturday 29th May.

The group of “thugs” apparently scaled the sides of the bus and proceeded to jump up and down on the roof, leaving Sir Paul McCartney and his team shaken but unhurt. A source involved in the incident was quoted by the Daily Mail to say that: “At first his security team thought it was just swarms of fans but when people started scaling the bus, the situation changed in a flash."

Following the incident, which apparently finished with the arrival of the local police, Sir Paul’s management are now reviewing the songwriter’s security team and their procedures.
