Crowded House are a classic rock band from Melbourne, Australia, consisting of Neil Finn, Nick Seymour, Mark Hart and Matt Sherrod.
Formed in 1985, the band released their debut self-titled album in 1986, which featured singles such as Don't Dream It's Over and Something So Strong. ‘Temple of Low Men’ was released in 1988 and ‘Woodface’ followed in 1991, hitting #6 on the UK Albums Chart and spawning the single Weather with You. A further two studio albums followed before the band initially split in 1996. They reformed in 2006 to release their fifth LP, ‘Time on Earth’, in 2007 and their latest full-length release, 2010's ‘Intriguer’. Crowded House have confirmed a headline show at Scarborough Open Air Theatre for June 2021. Their rescheduled 2020 UK dates will also take place throughout the summer.
