Garbage are an American alternative rock and industrial outfit hailing from Madison, Wisconsin. Formed in 1994, the band consisted of Scottish vocalist and guitarist Shirley Manson, multi-instrumentalist Duke Erikson, guitarists/keyboard-player Steve Marker, and drummer and Butch Vig.
Although the band impressed early on, no-one could have predicted the success their self-titled debut album would find, earning them double-platinum discs and selling over four million copies.
They’ve since shifted 17million copies of their five album discography, received nominations for Grammys and BRITs, toured the world over, and even creating a James Bond theme tune, for the film The World is Not Enough - a sure highlight for any artist lucky enough to be asked for the role.
Garbage would go on to celebrate their 20th anniversary of their seminal, multi-platinum debut album in 2015.
Next up, Garbage have announced two September 2018 'Version 2.0' 20th anniversary shows in London - they've also added more dates around the country due to demand for tickets. Now the alt-rock band will head to Edinburgh, Glasgow, Bristol, Birmingham, Manchester, Nottingham and Newcastle, too, as well as Europe!
Garbage also tour the US afterwards too. Catch them live by checking out the tour dates and concert ticket information below on Stereoboard.
