Finbar Furey is an Irish folk multi-instrumentalist from Dublin.
He started his music career in the early 1960s, touring and releasing records with The Fureys, before launching his solo career in 1997. He released ‘The Wind And The Rain’ in 1997, followed by ‘Chasing Moonlight’ in 2003, and the EP ‘New York Girls, Rough Diamond’ in 2003.
Finbar’s latest album 'Paddy Dear', topped the Irish Charts in 2017, following on from 2016's 'Four Green Fields' and a handful of albums before that.
Furey is now set to release a new album, ‘Don’t Stop This Now’, which will be released on March 30 2018 by BMG. The album will also see the release of a bonus Live DVD of Furey performing at Vicar Street Dublin.
