Glass Tiger are a Canaian rock band from Ontario. Formed in 1983, the current members consist of Alan Frew, Sam Reid, Al Connelly and Chris McNeill, who joined in 2000 replacing Michael Hanson who left in 1988.
The band released their debut album in 1986. 'The Thin Red Line' went 4x Platinum in Canada and was certified Gold in the US. Its follow up, 'Diamond Sun' came in 1988, reaching 2x Platinum in Canada. 'Simple Mission' in 1991 also reached Platinum in their home country. Since, they've released a handful of compilation albums of live material and 'best of' tracks. 2018 sees the the band's 31st anniversary of making music together - and they won't be stopping any time soon! New album '31' dropped in February, and they'll spend the year touring with Johnny Reid on his ‘Revival Live’ tour across Canada, as well as headline shows in the country and here in the UK with a London show at ULU in September.
