Graham Norton is a comedian, actor and TV presenter from Clondalkin, Ireland.
Starting his comedy career in the 1980s, he began to gain attention after his 1991 Edinburgh Festival Fringe debut—in which he performed in drag as Mother Teresa portrayed as an Irish housewife—attracted some controversy. From there, he began to appear frequently on TV, with his role as Father Noel Furlong in Father Ted being particularly well-loved, eventually moving to the BBC in 2001, where he hosted Comic Relief. He has since gone on to gain National Treasure status in the UK and Ireland, hosting shows such as Any Dream Will Do and Wheel of Fortune as well as the UK's coverage of the Eurovision Song Contest and, of course, his five-time BAFTA-winning talk show, The Graham Norton Show. Graham Norton will embark on his first ever live tour of Australia and New Zealand, billed An Evening with Graham Norton, in March and April 2025.
