Harvey Mason is an American jazz musician hailing from Atlantic City, New Jersey. Born in 1947, he is best known for his incredible free-form jazz drumming, which has earned him international recognition and the chance to work with some of the genre’s biggest and best names, like Herbie Hancock and his Headhunters.
Despite sitting behind a drum kit, Mason has managed to carve himself more than successful career as a bandleader and solo musician, and is the proud owner of seven studio albums - the latest of which, ‘Chameleon’, hit shelves in 2014.
