IAM is a French hip hop band from Marseill, consisting of Akhenaton (Philippe Fragione), Shurik'n (Geoffroy Mussard), Khéops (Eric Mazel), Imhotep (Pascal Perez), and Kephren (François Mendy).
Formed in 1989, they released their debut ‘...De la planète Mars’, in 1991, which they followed with ‘Ombre est Lumière’ in 1993, ‘L'école du micro d'argent’ in 1997, ‘Revoir un Printemps’ in 2003, ‘Saison 5’ in 2007, and ‘Arts Martiens’ and a self-titled release both came out in 2013. Their latest album, 'Revolution', dropped in March 2017. IAM have announced a show at London’s O2 Shepherd's Bush Empire in March.
