Joel Creasey is one of Australia’s most-popular, acclaimed and charmingly controversial stand-up comedians.
He started his comedy career at the age of just 17, getting to the finals of Perth's Raw Comedy competition. He then made his Melbourne International Comedy Festival debut in 2010, with a show entitled Slumber Party at the Kitten Club, which earned him a nomination for Best Newcomer. After a handful of more shows, Creasey gained more an more media attention, and his The Drama Captain show saw 23 sold out shows in Melbourne, as well as Best Show nominations at both the Sydney and Perth Comedy Festivals.
Since, he has toured internationally, and appeared on various television programmes, including the Australian version of I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here!
Creasey is currently Australia's commentator for the Eurovision Song Contest alongside Myf Warhurst, while his 2018 Just for Laughs set was filmed and will feature as part of a stand-up comedy series on Netflix in 2019
