John Lydon, otherwise known by his stage name Johnny Rotten, is a singer and musician who is widely recognised as the lead singer of the late-1970s punk band, the Sex Pistols. Lydon is also known for his work with the post-rock group Public Image Ltd, which he found in 1978 following the initial disbandment of the Sex Pistols.

St George's Concert Hall is a 1,500 capacity performance and arts venue based on Bridge Street, Bradford.
