Patti Smith is a singer-songwriter from Chicago, Illinois, but raised in New Jersey.

One of the most prominent figures in the '70s New York punk and art scenes, she earned the title of 'punk poet laureate' thanks to her passion for poetry. Today, she remains one of the most respected musicians to come out of America in the 20th century, releasing eight albums as a solo artist and a further three under the Patti Smith Group moniker. Her most recent, 'Banga', arrived in 2012, which has been followed by countless live, reworked and collaborative releases.

Patti Smith will tour Europe in October 2025, which includes two nights at The London Palladium and a show at Dublin's 3Arena. She also has further European tour dates in the diary for July of that year, and a North American trek later in the fall.
