Soundwalk Collective With Patti Smith Announce 'Correspondences Vol II' EP

Soundwalk Collective with Patti Smith have announced a new EP.
'Correspondences Vol II' will arrive on March 21 and features two new tracks, Children Of Chernobyl, and The Acolyte, The Artist and Nature. As a preview, stream the former, which serves as the EP's lead track, below. It features Smith's improvised spoken-word poetry over an atmospheric instrumental. She explained:
"It’s a process of discovery through improvisation and channelling. We are sort of two halves, and we merge together the mental and physical traveller to get the atmosphere and the visual content – the music, even – and the words that will articulate what we want to do."
'Correspondences Vol II' follows 'Correspondences Vol I' which was released in May 2024. Soundwalk Collective with Patti Smith will host live performances and exhibitions of their work in Seoul in South Korea, and Tokyo and Kyoto in Japan, between April 18 and May 3.
Smith will also celebrate the 50th anniversary of her seminal debut album, 'Horses', with UK, European and US shows in the autumn. The tour will commence at Dublin's 3Arena on October 6, and features two dates at the London Palladium on October 12 and 13. She'll also head to Madrid, Bergamo, Brussels, Oslo and Paris later that month, before US gigs in November.
Additionally, Patti Smith Quartet have European dates in the diary for the summer, including headline appearances at Citadel Music Festival in Berlin, Tollwood Festival in Munich, and Zelt-Musi-Festival in Freiburg im Breisgau. Tickets are on sale now.
She released her most recent studio album, 'Peradam', a collaborative LP with Soundwalk Collective, in 2020. Since then, she's released a number of live records.
