Kimbra is a New Zealand-born singer-songwriter and musician hailing from Hamilton, now based in Melbourne, Australia. Born in 1990, she creates a unique and eclectic style of music that touches on anything from R&B to electropop and indie-rock to jazz.
Influenced by the likes of Bjork and Prince, Kimbra would first properly emerge in around 2011 with her debut album ‘Vows’, which featured tracks like Cameo Lover and Warrior.
Going on to find major success after featuring on Gotye track Somebody That I Used to Know, which won her two Grammy Awards, Kimbra would return with her second LP, ‘The Golden Echo’, in August 2014. She released the collaborative track, Always Wanted You, with Aryay in 2017.
Kimbra has now delivered her third LP, 'Primal Heart', which hit shelves in April 2018. After tour dates in Australia and New Zealand in July, she'll perform in Manchester and London this March as part of a European tour in 2019.
