Lala Lala is the musical project of songwriter Lillie West. Although originally from London, she moved to LA with her family as a teenager, and is now based in Chicago after enrolling at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
Inspired by those cities’ DIY music communities, she started Lala Lala as an outlet where she could process her new experiences, which often involved toxic relationships and partying around the city with beloved friends. Turbulence in her life resulted in the self-released 'Sleepyhead' in 2016, but after quitting drinking she was able to write her first full length proper. Her debut LP, 'The Lamb', was released in September 2018 through Hardly Art. Lala Lala has announced European and UK tour dates for February 2019.
