Malefice are an English heavy metal outfit hailing from Reading. Formed in 2003, the band consists of frontman Dale Butler, guitarists Ben Symon and Andrew Wilson, bassist Tom Hynes, and new drummer James Cook, who replaced Chris Allan-Whyte in 2014.
Created whilst its members were still in college together, Malefice would get their break early on thanks to some impressive live shows, and would go on to find the attention of record labels, including Metal Blade and their new home Transcend Records.
