Brian Imanuel, or Rich Brian (FKA Rich Chigga), is an Indonesian rapper-songwriter and internet personality.

He grew up home-schooled in the city, and at first only spoke Bahasa Indonesia, but he soon discovered YouTube and taught himself the American English slang, and fashioned himself as an online celebrity. At first, he used Twitter and Vine to turn himself into a comedian, and then started releasing rap videos - which became hugely popular.

Imanuel first released his debut track, Living the Dream, in 2015, through YouTube. He then went on to release his debut single, and most successful video to date, Dat $tick, in February 2016. The track caught international success after a reaction video was released, featuring American rappers Ghostface Killah, 21 Savage, Tory Lanez, MadeinTYO, Desiigner and many more praising it. It peaked at #4 on the Bubbling Under R&B/Hip-Hop Singles.

Imanuel went on to release more singles: Who That Be in 2016, Seventeen, which quickly surpassed the one million hits mark on both YouTube and SoundCloud, and his latest single is Chaos.

Rich Brian's debut album, 'Amen', hit shelves in February 2018, and will see him hitting the stage in support of it. After getting back from Australian shows, Rich Brian heads to London in July 2018 for a headline show at the O2 Shepherd Bush Empire.
