Riot Jazz Brass Band are a group of nine musicians from Manchester.
Formed in 2008, the band is fronted by MC Chunky, accompanied by three trumpets, three trombones, drums and a sousaphone. The band draws influences across many genres from jazz to drum and bass, grime to classical, dubstep to Latin. As well as recording their own studio albums—of which they have released three in total—the band have collaborated with the likes of Plan B and London Elektricity.
