Sam Bailey is an English singer hailing from Leicester. Born in 1977, Bailey is a former prison officer who found fame after auditioning for the tenth series of The X Factor in 2013, which she would later go on to win, receiving multiple standing ovations along with the way and reducing Nicole Scherzinger to tears with her rendition of Who’s Lovin You.
Earning a lucrative deal with Syco Music following the win, she would go on to release her debut single - a cover of Demi Lovato’s Skyscraper - in December, becoming the first X Factor winner in three years to pick up the sought-after Christmas #1.
Having already made a name for herself across the country thanks to X Factor, she went on to impress on the X Factor Live Tour, while she was even gifted a position supporting Beyonce at one of the dates on her Mrs Carter Show world tour.
Now, having spent her time hard at work on a debut album, Bailey has lined-up a March 24 2014 release date for ‘The Power of Love’, a collection which features a load of new tracks including a duet with Scherzinger. Early in 2015, she hits the road for her first ever headline tour - check below to find tickets!

Only had a couple of songs leading upto Ms Sheena Easton in Melbourne. Loved her fabulous voice and will see her again. Keep up the great voice. No wonder Sam won 10th season of X Factor. Missed her name at start. Other people loved her voice. We wanted her to keep going. David Penington (Hamilton Victoria AU)
