Slowthai—real name Tyron Frampton—is a rapper from Northampton.
He quickly gained a following after posting music to SoundCloud, going on to release his debut album, 'Nothing Great About Britain', in 2019, earning him a Mercury Prize nomination. He then dropped 'Tyron' in 2021, which he's due to follow up with 'UGLY' in March 2023. As well as his Mercury Prize nod, he has received Grammy and NME Award nominations, and has collaborated with the likes of James Blake, Kevin Abstract, Skepta, Mura Masa, Denzel Curry, Disclosure and A$AP Rocky. Slowthai will celebrate the release of his new album with an intimate UK pub tour in February and March 2023. He'll then bring the Ugly World Tour back to the UK the following September.
