The Wombats are a indie-rock band from Liverpool.
Formed in 2003, the band released their debut album, ‘A Guide to Love, Loss & Desperation’, in 2007, which included their breakthrough hits Kill The Director, Moving To New York, Backfire At The Disco and Let's Dance To The Joy Division. They went on to record a further five studio albums including, most recently, 'Fix Yourself, Not The World', in 2022. The Wombats will play a pair of homecoming shows at Liverpool's Arts Club on September 15-16, 2023, ahead of their fall North American tour.
