Tom Bright is a folk-pop singer, guitarist and songwriter from Derby.
The start of his career was sparked by a trip to Australia, where he wrote Not The Life She Planned about the streets of Melbourne. He eventually recorded the track on his return to the UK — it featured a piano cameo from The Clash's Mick Jones. Bright continues to be inspired by the people, places and things around him that others may view as mundane or undesirable. He released his debut album, 'Self Service Checkout', in 2020, alongside a book of poetry and short stories called This Bloke In The Village. His sophomore album, 'Legacy' is due to drop in 2021.
