Joni Mitchell is a singer-songwriter from Alberta, Canada.

Widely regarded as one of the most influential and prolific musicians of all time. She has received countless honours and accolades to mark her achievements, including inductions into both the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame and the Canadian Music Hall of Fame, 10 Grammys (including the coveted Lifetime Achievement Award), three Juno Awards and the Polar Music Prize. In 1996, she also received the Governor General's Performing Arts Award for Lifetime Artistic Achievement and made a Companion of the Order of Canada – Canada's highest honours.

Known across generations for her singles Big Yellow Taxi, Help Me and You Turn Me On I'm a Radio, among many others, she has released 19 studio albums to date, with the most recent being 2007's 'Shine'.
