Asher Roth is an American rapper and singer from Morrisville, Pennsylvania.
Starting his music career in 2005, he was discovered by manager Scooter Braun, and signed to his label, Schoolboy Records. He released his debut mixtape, ‘The Greenhouse Effect Vol. 1.’ in 2008. His first single, I Love College, was a hit in 2009, reaching #12 in the Billboard Hot 100, paving the way for his debut album, ‘Asleep in the Bread Aisle’, which hit#5 in the Billboard Hot 200. He signed with Federal Prism in 2013, released his second album, ‘Retro Hash’, the following year, and put out 'Rawther' in 2017. Roth has toured with Kid Cudi and B.o.B, as part of The Great Hangover tour, and supported Blink-182. Now in 2019, Asher Roth has confirmed UK May shows to celebrate the 10th anniversary of 'Asleep In The Bread Aisle'.
