Baroness, are an American band from Georgia, consisting of John Baizley, Peter Adams, Nick Jost and Sebastian Thomson.

Formed in 2003 by former members of Johnny Welfare and the Paychecks, the band released their debut EP, ‘First’ in 2004, on Hyperrealist Records. Their debut album, ‘Red Album’ hit the shelves in 2007 on Relapse Records. The band followed this with a further three albums; ‘Blue Record’, in 2009, ‘Yellow and Green’ in 2012, and their most recent release,‘Purple’ in 2015 via their own label Abraxan Hymns.
