Bonnie Raitt is an American blues singer-songwriter and talented slide guitar-player. Kicking off her career back in 1971, she found some fame releasing roots-influenced, blues, rock, and folk-tinged records during the 1970s. It wasn’t until the 1990s however, that she saw commercial success, with her first number one in 1989 with her record ‘Nick of Time’.

Her following three albums; ‘Luck of the Draw’, ‘Longing in Their Hearts’, and ‘Fundamental’, have all been certified platinum many times over (‘Luck of the Draw’ an incredible seven times!), and she’s not let her foot off the guess yet either - her 2012 record ‘Slipstream’ hit number six in the US Albums charts, and her latest album, ‘Dig It Deep’, is set to be released in February 2016.
