Bret Michael Sychak, better known as Bret Michaels, is an American singer, musician and actor.
Michaels hit the spotlight as the frontman of rock band Poison who have sold over 50 million albums worldwide, and 15 million records in the United States alone. The band has also charted 10 singles, including six Top 10 singles and a number-one Every Rose Has Its Thorn. Despite their genre falling out of popularity in the 1990s, Poison would survive, continue on, and are still performing to this day. In summer 2022, they supported Def Leppard and Mötley Crüe at stadiums across the US and Canada. Along with his career with Poison, Michaels has released several solo LPs, including a soundtrack record accompanying the 1998 film, A Letter From Death Row, which Michaels starred in, wrote and directed. He also put out a classic Poison-style rock album called 'Songs Of Life' in 2003. Michaels has announced his US Parti Gras Tour for July and August 2023.
