Chad Vangaalen is a Canadian musician from Calgary, Alberta. He signed to Sub Pop and released his debut album, ‘Infiniheart’, in 2004.
His second release, ‘Skelliconnection’, came out in 2006, and was shortlisted for the Polaris Music Prize. ‘Soft Airplane’ followed in 2008, with ‘Diaper Island’ coming out in 2011, ‘ Shrink Dust’, in 2014 and ‘Seed of Dorzon’, in 2015 with Seth Smith. He also performs under the name, Black Mold, releasing the album, ‘Snow Blindness is Crystal Antz’, in 2009. He is set to release his latest album, ‘Light Information’, on September 8, 2017. Chad Vangaalen has announced UK shows in London and Leeds this October in support of ‘Light Information’.
