Cheltenham Jazz Festival is an annual event held in various venues throughout the town.
Organised by Cheltenham Festivals—the charitable organisation behind the internationally acclaimed Jazz, Science, Music and Literature Festivals since 1945—the event has grown to become one of the UK's best-loved jazz festivals, welcoming over 20,000 fans every year. Featuring a mix of jazz icons and up-and-coming artists, it has previously hosted performances from the likes of Jamie Cullum (who now helps curate the festival), Hugh Laurie, Eartha Kitt, Imelda May, Van Morrison, Stephane Grappelli, Gregory Porter, James Bay and Corinne Bailey Rae. Cheltenham Jazz Festival will return in spring 2023, featuring Gregory Porter, Mika, Beverley Knight, Van Morrison, Laura Mvula, Will Young, Squeeze, Rufus Wainwright, Ezra Collective and much more.
