More Bands Announced For Bloodstock Festival & Car Sharing Scheme Launched!
There’s yet more thrash for Bloodstock with Northern Irish upstarts, Gama Bomb landing an opening slot on the Ronnie James Dio mainstage. The band are looking forward to churning up the Catton Park turf, commenting:
“Bloodstock: it’s just like Woodstock, but for heavy metal types, and replacing the love and peace with chips and Carling! And Slayer! Our UK fans have been asking for this for years, and now the dream is real. So pack your tent, back up your arse with bananas and send the word – The G-Bomb are comin’ to Bloodstock!".

A Familiar Face Returns To Headline 2000trees 2013

ArcTanGent To Play Host To A ‘Day Of Damnation’
You can imagine the warmth in our hearts this morning as two of our favourite festivals, new Bristol based 2000trees sister event ArcTanGent and Leeds’ famous metal behemoth Damnation, announced a collaboration to take place at the former this summer. 2000trees Announce Biggest Ever Headliner
2000trees are delighted to announce that Mystery Jets will headline the Saturday night of the 2013 festival. The London indie popsters come to 2000trees on the back of a mega 2012, which included a sold out headline performance at the cavernous Brixton Academy. Festival organiser James Scarlett has described them as “a seriously huge band for a small festival like 2000trees” as well as emphasising his confidence in them as live performers.
