2000trees Announce Biggest Ever Headliner

2000trees are delighted to announce that Mystery Jets will headline the Saturday night of the 2013 festival. The London indie popsters come to 2000trees on the back of a mega 2012, which included a sold out headline performance at the cavernous Brixton Academy. Festival organiser James Scarlett has described them as “a seriously huge band for a small festival like 2000trees” as well as emphasising his confidence in them as live performers.

ImageMystery Jets will be joined at the festival by new additions King Charles, Stagecoach, Gunning for Tamar, The Crimea, Rat Attack, Andy Oliveri, The Arteries, Axes, Black Art, Bermuda Ern, Cauls, The Cadbury Sisters, Casimir, Velcro Hooks and Hot Feet. Festival organiser Andy Rea has also reminded everyone that there are still twenty more acts to be announced, including the Friday night main stage headliner, so there is still plenty to be excited about ahead of the festival’s return on 11th July.

Previously announced bands include Funeral for a Friend, Stornoway, And So I Watch You from Afar, Adebisi Shank, We are the Ocean, InMe, BATS, Nine Black Alps, Beans on Toast and Brontide. The Thursday night early entry line-up, meanwhile, is headlined by Future of the Left alongside The Xcerts amongst others. Tickets for this day are nearly sold out, however.

2000trees takes place at Upcote Farm near Cheltenham from the 11th to the 13th July 2013. Tickets are available now for a stupendously good-value price from www.twothousandtreesfestival.co.uk which also has all the latest information about the event.
