Ronan Keating and Blue will team up for a UK tour next summer.
The run will kick off with Forest Live shows at Thetford Forest on the border of Norfolk and Suffolk, Delamere Forest in Cheshire, Cannock Chase Forest in Rugeley, Staffordshire, and Westonbirt Arboretum in Tetbury, Gloucestershire, alongside a stop at the Live At Lincoln Castle series on June 17.
The tour will then continue with performances at Margate Dreamland, Live at Llangollen Pavilion, Cardiff Castle for the Depot Live series, Scarborough Open Air Theatre, Halifax's Live at the Piece Hall series and Colochester's Castle Park series between June 25 and August 21. Australian pop trio Germein Sisters will open the shows in Llangollen and Cardiff.
The shows will see the former Boyzone member-turned-solo star (pictured) perform classic Boyzone songs and form are part of his 2027 Just Getting Started World Tour, which also includes shows in Australia and New Zealand in March, and dates across Europe in September. He said:
“I’ve been incredibly lucky to have spent more than three decades doing what I love. I’ve travelled the world, made records I’m enormously proud of and, most importantly, had audiences singing those songs back to me night after night.
“The reason I’ve called this tour Just Getting Started is because I genuinely feel I’m entering a new chapter. I understand myself, my music and what I want to say more clearly than ever before, and I want to celebrate these songs with audiences in a way that feels fresh. I feel creatively energised, deeply grateful and more connected to what I do than ever, and I can’t wait to share that with people around the world.”
Keating released his latest studio album, 'Songs From Home', in 2021. Blue, meanwhile, put out their fourth album, 'Reflections', in January and are currently on the road celebrating 25 years together as a band, with dates across the Middle East, Europe and Asia to come.
Tickets for the new co-headline UK shows go on general sale at 10am next Friday (September 25), while tickets for Keating's European dates go on sale at 10am local time on September 23, with his Australian dates on sale at 9am local time on September 22. Tickets for Blue's 25th Anniversary Tour dates are on sale now.
