Kaiser Chiefs, Bush, And Rival Sons Confirmed For Bon Jovi's British Summer Time Hyde Park

Kaiser Chiefs, Bush, and Rival Sons have all been announced for this summer’s British Summer Time Hyde Park event, joining headliners Bon Jovi for what is set to be an epic event.

Shaping up to be the day of rock and roll on the main stage, Kaiser Chiefs will step up to the Great Oak Stage alongside fellow British stars Bush, to join Bon Jovi’s previously announced show on Friday July 5th.

Kaiser Chiefs are one of Britain’s most popular bands, and are a huge festival draw with a pedigree of massive indie rock hits. Debuting in 2004, first album ‘Employment’ arrived a year later and singles ‘Oh My God,’ ‘I Predict A Riot’, and ‘Every Day I Love You Less and Less’ became instant anthems of a generation.

Originally from London, Bush are one of the few British rock bands to truly break America in the last 20 years, selling 10million albums in the 1990s. They split in 2002 before reforming in 2010 with a new record and tour.

But the main Great Oak stage is not the only performance space at the event. An array of artists will play at The Theatre, Village Hall and Bandstand, all set in the beautiful surroundings of Hyde Park and all included in the ticket price. Fans can enjoy established stars alongside some of the best new acts around on the way up.

And headlining The Theatre are Sunderland’s finest post punks The Futureheads, while you’ll also be treated to a solo set from former Fightstar frontman (now turned classic singer/songwriter) Charlie Simpson, as well as acclaimed Norwegian funk/soul live wire Bernhoft and Irish indie heroes The Coronas.

The Village Hall stage will see young Californians Rival Sons performing one of their highly-lauded live shows. Combining Led Zep riffs with driving, soulful grooves and great songs, they have been hailed as the retro rockers of the future and produce incredible live performances - make sure you check them out!.

Created by AEG and The Royal Parks, Barclaycard British Summer Time will give music fans the chance to see some of the world's top acts play over back-to-back weekends from 28th June to 7th July 2013.

Each live music-packed weekend will be linked by a midweek programme of diverse entertainment. From Monday to Thursday, the entire Barclaycard British Summer Time site, except for the main stage, will give visitors the chance to get involved with smaller, more intimate events offering film, music, literature, sport.
