The Subways have decided to either cancel or postpone all their tour plans up to the end of May 2006.
The band have been forced into the development after medical advice requested that singer Billy Lunn takes a break from singing after devloping nodules of his vocal chords which needed urgent treatment.
The affected shows includes their UK tour (Bristol & Shepherds Bush to be rescheduled), French tour (Cancelled), May US Tour (Cancelled) including Coachella Festival (Cancelled) and Hi Fi festival UK North and South (Cancelled).
A press release issued by the band said: "After consulting with doctors and throat specialists, agreed diagnosis was made, at the end of last week, that singer Billy Lunn has developed nodules on his vocal chords. Billy has been advised to halt all current touring and treat the condition."
"Billy, Charlotte and Josh are obviously hugely disappointed and frustrated by the current situation and look forward to playing again as soon as possible. They would like to thank everyone for their patience and understanding and very much appreciate all the kind words of support that people have expressed in wishing Billy a speedy recovery."
