Three lucky unsigned bands will have the chance to support The Stranglers and Mumford & Sons at Triumph LIVE 2010 - a festival to celebrate 20 years since the successful re-launch of the iconic brand and taking place at Mallory Park, Leicestershire on 18th September 2010.
A packed day of entertainment on and off track will be followed by a live music programme headlined by iconic rock band The Stranglers and newcomers Mumford & Sons. The remaining three slots of the programme will be filled by bands chosen by Triumph fans through a unique online battle of the bands competition.
Unsigned bands interested in playing at the event can now upload a profile, photo and three tracks at www.triumph-live.com where fans can listen to and vote for their favourite acts. The most popular acts will then be invited to a live showcase at the Triumph factory to battle it out for the opportunity to support The Stranglers and Mumford & Sons at Triumph LIVE in front of an audience of over 10,000 music lovers.
Over 50 bands have already uploaded their best tracks and with the cut-off date for entries being the 31st July there's not long left.
Triumph LIVE is a day-long event for all motorcyclists not just Triumph fans. Families are welcome too. Since the company's revival in late 1990, Triumph has gone from strength to strength, single-handedly putting the British motorcycle industry back on the map with a range of class-leading motorcycles that are sold around the world.
Naturally visitors to Triumph LIVE will be able to see the latest range of motorcycles plus watch a packed programme of on-track activity that includes races and spectacular stunts. Off-track, there will be a wide range of activities and attractions to cater for hardcore and casual motorcycle fans alike.
Visitors pre-booking their tickets, available at just £24 from www.triumph-live.com, will also have included in this ticket price the opportunity to visit Triumph's state-of-the-art factory in Hinckley, just 20 minutes from Mallory Park.NOTE FROM THE EDITOR We don't run any advertising!
