York's Finest, The Littlemores Announce Gig To Celebrate EP Launch

The outstanding York group and 2010 Battle Of The Bands winners, The Littlemores are to headline at Fibbers in York to celebrate the release of their new EP Idol Idols II.
The eclectic 4 piece are one of the most exciting and unique groups to have popped up in quite some time now. Delivering a sound which is very difficult to categorize, they blend jangly guitars, bass driven rhythms, top quality percussion and the accompaniment of trumpets and accordions to deliver a Ska infused, Mod like approach to Indie music with the lyrical poetry of new wave Punk, delivered with a vocal grit and warmth that makes this music for the masses.
With musical influence taken from the likes of The Clash, The Jam, The Specials, and Billy Bragg, this group take some of the best bits from the best around and chuck them all into their eclectic mix, with this in mind it is little wonder The Littlemores were crowned 2010 Battle Of The Bands Winners in York.
The gig on Friday the 30th July, promises to be an unmissable event as York’s finest Idol Idols celebrate their EP release in style.
The doors open at 7.30pm and tickets for the event are priced at £4, available from www.fibbers.co.uk. Following the live act is a club night which will keep the party going until 1am. Copies of the new EP, Idol Idols II will also be available for purchase on the night.
