The Killers' Brandon Flowers Confirms First Solo Shows

The Killers frontman turned solo star, Brandon Flowers, has announced his first ever solo shows which are set to take place in the United States.

Only announcing a break from the studio as a band, various members of The Killers have continued to keep themselves busy within music by trying their hand at solo work and working on side projects such as Mt Desolation.

Teaming up with musicians from British band Keane, Killer’s Jesse Quin and Keane’s Tim Rice-Oxley have joined forces for the Mt Desolation project, meanwhile The Killers vocalist Brandon Flowers has decided to step outside the group dynamic to write some solo material.

With his debut solo album ‘Flamingo’ hugely anticipated by fans, Brandon Flowers has just announced a short list of US dates to showcase the new material on the album, which is also his first batch of tunes since The Killers last album ‘Day & Age’.

The singer looks as though he will be joined by a new band on the road, with hometown Las Vegas opening the first night of the tour on August 15th. Brandon Flowers will then head to Los Angeles, San Francisco and finish the short tour in New York on August 26th.

Flowers is yet to confirm any UK dates for his solo show, however with the announcement of stateside gigs being confirmed, surely a trip across the pond isn’t that far away.

Rest assured Stereoboard.com will announce any UK dates, as soon as we have the details!
