The Libertines Reunion Rehearsals Unveiled On YouTube

Libertines singer and guitarist Pete Doherty has posted a video to YouTube showing his band rehearsing for their anticipated reunion show at both the Reading and Leeds festivals later this month.
The festivals go ahead at the end of the month, with the Libertines confirmed to play their reunion show on the main stage at Leeds on August 27th and August 28th. NME reports that Doherty has posted a video on YouTube under the pseudonym 1waytikt2tickletown, showing the band play a rough rendition of ‘Horrorshow’ from their ‘Up The Bracket’ album.
During the rehearsal film we see The Libs in front of the camera before Doherty says, “Alright, it’s recording so let’s go straight into one.” The track is then mixed with footage of the band playing the same song at their 2002 Christmas Party at London’s Rhythm Factory venue.
The Libertines recently announced a festival warm-up show at London’s Forum. The warm-up gig is confirmed to go ahead on Wednesday August 25th before the band travel to Leeds and then Reading for their reunion shows supporting Arcade Fire on the main stage at both festivals.
