Video Release: Kris Menace Feat. Emil 'Walkin' On The Moon'

'Walkin’ On The Moon' is a sublime slice of electronic pop for 2010. It pairs up one of the most respected dance producers in the world & rising star Emil, who delivers a powerful vocal performance in spectacular fashion, with one of the best current urban songwriters (The Dream).

The track started life as an online phenomenon when the Canadian DJ U-Tern uploaded his mix of The Dream ‘Walking On The Moon’ and a Kris Menace instrumental ‘Lightning’; it soon became the most tweeted track on Hype Machine and went on to be championed by Annie Mac bagging five plays on consecutive weeks during her Radio 1 show.

After this success Kris decided to make it an official release so asked Emil, who is signed to well regarded indie label B-Unique and has a solo project coming for 2011, to provide the vocal.

The result is Kris Menace feat. Emil - 'Walkin' On The Moon', a sparkling slice of soulful electro pop, that sounds like it was born in the 80's but is definitely the sound of now.

Regarded as one of the finest producers and DJ’s of his time, Kris Menace has created a difficult balance of underground credibility and wide spread accessibility. Underground stalwarts like Erol Akan and SoulWax are just as likely to play as Annie Mac on daytime radio or Tiesto at a festival.

Previous big tracks for Kris include the Ibiza anthem 'Discopolis' and 'Lumberjack'’ with Alan Braxe. He’s also worked with names like Felix Da Housecat. Steve Aoki & DJ Pierre and remixed Depeche Mode, Kylie Minogue, Robbie Williams, LCD Soundsystem, Underworld, Moby and Royksopp.

The release will include extended and radio edit version with remixes already in the pipeline.
