Fairground Attraction's Eddi Reader To Play Four UK Shows & Tickets

Scottish singer songwriter Eddi Reader has announced three select UK shows for April 2011.

Honey-voiced Eddi Reader is perhaps best known for her work with Scottish band Fairground Attraction – the group who recorded the 80's hit single 'Perfect' – as well as her enduring solo career. She has been awarded three BRIT awards and has topped both the UK album and singles charts.

The Glasgow native has worked with a long list of artists including the Eurythmics, the Waterboys and Gang of Four. She found her place in the spotlight after joining Fairground Attraction and entering the charts with the band's debut album 'First Of A Million Kisses' in 1988. Gaining some good recognition through the album, Reader used her rise in popularity as a launch pad for her solo career.

Eddi Reader will play three shows in the UK, getting underway in Cardiff on April 4th. The singer will then travel to Bournemouth for a show at the O2 Academy and then onto Portsmouth for a performance at the Wedgewood Rooms on April 6th.

Eddi Reader will play the following UK shows:

April 2011

4th The Glee Club, Cardiff
5th O2 Academy, Bournemouth
6th Wedgewood Rooms, Portsmouth
