Diagram Of The Heart To Release New Single 'Did I'

Diagram of the Heart are masters of epic sounding glorious pop music.  Signed to Mike Pickering’s recently resurrected and legendary Deconstruction label, Diagram push the boundaries of pop and delve headfirst into the world of dance.  This dance-pop London duo set dance floors on fire with their first single 'Dead Famous' and by popular demand, fan single 'Did I' may do it all over again when it is released via iTunes on 17 October.

Diagram of the Heart have spent this summer being billed amongst the best of them with stand out sets at Wireless Festival alongside JAY-Z, Ibiza Rocks in support of Calvin Harris, Bestival beside Roxy Music, Gay Pride with Kelis and an iTunes special, not to mention being singled out to support Scissor Sisters on tour. With an already admirable and solid fan base, live is where they shine as they belt out big, bold Balearic inspired beats, fused with classic pop sounds and heartfelt yet upbeat lyrics. The songs are anthemic and their live set is addictive. This band has one foot in the warehouse and one foot in the charts.

With his style swagger and showmanship, Kye Sones shows all the qualities of the most esteemed frontmen - a natural born performer with a stage presence and voice as big as the band's massive sound and luminous, live stage show.

The meeting of Anthony Gorry (keyboards/vocals/ production) and singer Kye Stones was a meeting of minds as well as music.  Both have experienced the highs and lows of love and loss and the meaning behind their music is clear for all to hear. ‘Did I’ is a classic example of this.  A love lost tale turned into one seriously infectious and uplifting track.

With a hook-laden chorus mixing perfectly with heavy, beat driven synths, ‘Did I’ fuses Kye Sones superbly strong vocal with Anthony Gorry’s electric synths. It is just one example of what is to come from Diagram of the Heart’s debut album ‘Vital Signs.’
