Pop-punkers Veara are to release their debut album ‘What We Left Behind’ on 25th October through Epitaph Records. The band were previously announced as support for the Eastpak Antidote Tour alongside the Riverboat Gamblers, Black Pacific and Sum-41. The release of the new album will coincide with the tour.
The four-piece, who were founded in Augusta, Georgia in 2003, are made up of vocalist Brad Wyrosdick, guitarist Patrick Bambrick, bassist Bryan Kerr and drummer Brittany Harrell. ‘What We Left Behind’ is produced by Andrew Wade and co-produced by Jeremy McKinnon, the frontman with melodic hardcore band A Day To Remember.
“We have been through a lot of turmoil as a band,” says drummer Brittany Harrell. “Whether it be people doubting us, saying you can't do this, members quitting, people lying, etc. The songs on this record have to do with everything that we were going through within that year. It pretty much means all those topics are being left behind because we can do this and we will do this no matter what.”
