The Hold Steady Announce Dates For 2011 UK Tour & Tickets

Brooklyn based rock outfit The Hold Steady have confirmed plans to visit the UK next year, bringing with them a list of venues for a ten-date tour in February.
The band, who released their fifth studio album 'Heaven Is Whenever' back in May, will get their tour underway on February 4th at Southampton University. The tour will will roll through venues in Bristol, Birmingham, Newcastle, Glasgow, Manchester, Leeds, Norwich and Cambridge before closing at London's Shepherds Bush Empire on February 18th.
The band's style has been described as a "riff-heavy mixture of classic rock," notable for its "lyrically dense storytelling." The Hold Steady will be using the tour to promote their new album and showcase some of their new material as well as playing some fan favourites.
